Never Done Yoga? - Some helpful information

These are just a few questions and answers that I thought might be appropriate for someone who has never practiced yoga before.  I have tried to adjust them for the sort of classes I am now running.  If you would like to know anything else please contact me using the details listed below.

What do I wear?

The clothes in your closet, not the baggiest and not the tightest.   Something comfortable to move around in and not restrictive. Try bending and stretching in your clothes.  Shoes are not required as it is best to work with bare feet.

Do I need any special equipment?

A yoga mat is required to help give a good non-slip base and you may need water to keep you hydrated.

Will I be at the front of the class?

In these classes you can be wherever you are comfortable. The main thing is that you can see the teacher clearly.

How will I compare to others?

Yoga is not competitive so you don't need to compare yourself to anyone else and besides we all have 'good' and 'bad' days! Your yoga practice is a time for you to be with yourself and relax.

Will there be any other new people?

There is a very good chance that you will not be the only 'new person' as I am keen to involve as many people new to yoga as possible.

Do you have other questions?

Then please email or text me and I will do my best to answer them.

Please call, text or email for more information about yoga, my time table or anything else.
